    Android Application For a website

    Hi,

I am trying to do a project where i have to build an android app for a website, similar to a facebook app. I am a bit confused on where to start, for example how can i get the data for the app, via directly connecting to the DB or the website developer has to expose some webservices?

Any help and guidance is appreciated.

You would want to design some type of web service for it, as giving the world direct access to your database is not something you normally would want to do.

Maybe you are better of to make a (smaller) mobile version of you website? Which then can be used by the mobile browsers?

You didn't specify what kind of website you have.
