Eclipse won't run??

Hi All,

I'm new to the development of games for the android system. Although I do have some experience in making them for PC.
My current problem is I can even seem to get Eclipse to run??
It tells me I'm missing a 'java runtime environment (JRE)' but I know for a fact that java is fully up to date and functional on my computer. Any ideas??
