Hi,

Zone Alarm has a little issue on leaving a few ports open, i don't know how to fix this yet, but you might consider trying to block some off the webpages/other stuff from where those same trojans originated, if you're using IE go to the tools menu->Security->restritect sites-> and insert the sites you do not wich to pop-up or access.
Then proceed to the Advanced Tab, (in the same Menu)->scroll all the way dow to security->and check the box Empty Temporary Internet Files when browser is closed.
I think editing your cookies policy might help as some sites tend to make use of cookies in your computer , once again Menu Tools->Privacy-> and in here you can select the mode you want or you can edit the sites manualy for the ones you wish to allow using cookies and the ones you do not.

I don't remenber well zone alarm configurantion, i changed to Outpost because of the open ports issue, but it might help if you checked it's configuration options for blocking sites or downloads without your consent.

Hope this helps.

Hi steve03,

If you still need help:

Download HijackThis. Make sure you install HijackThis to a permanent folder such as C:\HJT as it creates backups of what we will fix. Run the program, press Scan, after a brief pause... press Save log. Notepad will open, copy and paste the entire log into your post. Do not fix anything yet, most of what's in the log is needed!
