Blank Desktop :0(
Hi! Hope you guys can help. I recently downloaded a picture from the net cuz I though it was cool. Little did I know it would install Sah agent and GAIN advertising software on my computer. These agents made pop-ups appear on my screen while I was browsing, and became really annoying, so I tried to remove them using a protocol I heard of. To the best of my knowledge I didn't delete anything other than the agents, but now when I start up I have no icons nor a start toolbar. I can only open the task manager.
I saw on previous threads similar problems to this. The advice then was to get rid of sysu.exe under processes from the system via task manager. I don't have this on my computer, so I don't know what to do. It's a real pain in the ***. Hopefully you can help. Thanks, Cilian

Hi cilian,
Can you list the running processes in task manager? Maybe we can find the offending process and kill it. You may have more problems than that though. It would be nice to see a HijackThis log. Tom
