Question BloodHound.w32.ep Virus on a XP Home

Hi my friend has a Windows XP Home IE v6.

Norton has recently found the following virus BloodHound.w32.ep, it says that the threat is High but it can't do anything with it.

I have run Spybot, AVG, Stinger and Adaware and none of these seem to have found anything related to the above virus. I have done searches on the net but every where is saying that this virus does not affect XP. Is this true? Can I just leave it where it is?
