C:\windows\update13.js

I have this ( C:\WINDOWS\UPDATE13.JS ) coming up on AVG. It also wont heal the problem??

Just wondering if there was another virus killer that might fix it??

I have tried AVG, Hijack This, Microsoft Anti Spyware, Ad Aware, It is recognised by Hijack this but I don't know what to do then....is this a file that could hurt my computer if i remove it??

ALSO....around the time this virus hit my laptop stopped recognising some hardware...in particular my biult in 5 in 1 card reader (i really need this reader to work)......

Thanks all!

No, I haven't.

I am only new to this....I don't know enough about it. For all I know this file might be an important part of windows that has been infected and deleting it might kill my computer ( I really don't know enough about it!..lol)

You can delete this update13.js ..no worry
go ..start-search
type in update13.js and hit search. When your file comes up
(it has a $sign in front) right click the file then chose DELETE.
Then delete it from the recycle bin
