Conflicting results from different antivirus software

Hi

This is my first post so please bear with me. This is also my first virus problem...

I have Sophos Antivirus running constantly in the background, however I scanned my computer yesterday manually using the Sophos scan and it returned over 70 instances of W32/Jeefo-A. When I went into quarantine to delete them, there are no actions available (insufficient rights).

I then scanned the system again with Malwarebytes - which found nothing, Panda security online scan - which found infected files but couldn't delete them, and finally Avira AntiVir which found and deleted about half of them.

I therefore still have 31 items in Sophos quarantine but can't find a way to delete them.

-Is there a reason why some of the scanners aren't picking anything up?

-Also, are there any dangers involved in running an antivirus scan on a server?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks for your time.
