Cpu Usage 100% - Can't Fix It By Myself

Hi people,

I'm having some problem with my cpu usage, that accuses 100% sometimes. I'm using a Pentium 4, 2.4 ghz cpu laptop, running Windows XP Home.
When I start my computer everything seems to be ok, but when i try to connect to msn messenger, it almost stops. So, I oppened the task manager and saw that when i try to use msn messenger the cpu usage goes to 100%, with msnmsgr.exe using 99% most part of the time.
It also occurs when i try to open something like the "add/remove programs" on the control panel. But in this case the archive that runs high is rundll32.exe.
I have ran norton antivirus, ad-aware and nothing seems to solve my problem.

(Oo;?( It's trying to download or install over 10 something uninteligible and 100% is to be expected even by an amateur as me. )

It seems to do other many meaningless things.

Take care to check your startups casually to disable them beore such a mess.

If it fixes, many defects may remain. Clean Installation recommended.
