Deleting viruses maually...please help
my friend has the Security Essentials trojan. How can I delete that? Do I have to go to the registry? step by step explanation would be very helpful. Thank you.

You know, there is an Antivirus forum. I have asked for an appropriate mod to move this over there.

If you have infection issues, start here first...

sorry about that. i quickly looked over all the forums and i did not see an antivirus one.....guess i missed it....thanks for the help though

Hi!
You can do :
Go to Start button.
click on Control Panel.
Double click Add or delete Programs.
Locate Fake Microsoft Security Essentials Alert Trojan and then click delete to start the remove.
Follow the on-screen steps to finish.
