Dns server hijack
Hi all. Can someone take a look at this HJT log and see if I still have an issue with my DNS servers?
I am concerned about the following: O17 - HKLM\SYSTEM\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{27FA172B-C2AC-4456-9A2D-78B49640FE78}: NameServer = 208.67.220.220,208.67.222.222 O17 - HKLM\SYSTEM\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{B3166709-578D-4F43-AA9E-F88D6A6D1B31}: NameServer = 208.67.220.220,208.67.222.222 and.. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\shared tools\msconfig\startupreg\yaemu.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\yaemu.exe and.. -- Hosts ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Several urls derived from 127.0.0.1 but the forum won't let me post these. 8025 more entries in hosts file. ---------------------------------------------- I have been running several of the cleaning tools suggested on this forum but can't figure out how to clean some of this stuff or what needs to be cleaned. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks! |

Lets start some repairs. Please refrain from running any other tool other than we discuss.
Make sure any antivirus or protective software is disabled. Here is a tutorial for most programs. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic114351.html Get all of these. Avg, spybots teatimer avg antispyware ect. Make sure these are disabled. Next Please download FixWareout from HERE Save it to your desktop and run it. Click Next, then Install, then make sure "Run fixit" is checked and click Finish. The fix will begin; follow the prompts. You will be asked to reboot your computer; please do so. Your system may take longer than usual to load; this is normal. When your system reboots, follow the prompts. Afterwards, HijackThis will launch. If it does not launch it your self.
