Help - BKDR_PRORAT.L trojan

Can anyone help me to get rid of this virus?

The Microsoft AntiSpyware program running in my system has detected this virus in my system, and currently blocking it from running. It looks like this program is constantly trying to start itself and the AntiSpyware program has been sucessful in blocks it every time (or so it seems) so far, but it was not able to remove it. I tried TrendMicro, it was able to detect it, but not able to removed it.

I would appreciate if someone can help me completely remove this virus.

By the way, the latest TrendMicro scan shows there are BKDR_PRORAT.L, BKDR_PRORAT.M and BKDR_PRORAT.19 running in my system. Are they the same or did I somehow got additional virus in my system?

Hi TonyL106,

Let's start off with a HijackThis log.

Please download HijackThis. Make sure you install HijackThis to a permanent folder such as C:\HJT as it creates backups of what we will fix.

Run the program, click the button at the top "Do a system scan and save a logfile". Save the log to a convenient place such as C:\HJT Notepad will open, copy and paste the entire log into your post. Do not fix anything yet, most of what's in the log is needed!
