Run HJT and check the box next to:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://bfc.myway.com/search/de_srchlft.html Have HJT fix it and rescan & repost. It's hard for me to take a deep look at this as I'm still at work. I'll take another look when at home to make sure everything is OK. |

Found something when I got home. Have Hijackthis try and fix the following entry:
O4 - Global Startup: Digital Line Detect.lnk = ? It's associated with bonzaibuddy and all those others. Try the following free online scans. They'll check for viruses and spyware that may be infecting your computer. Reboot after the scans and let me know if there are any changes. Trend Micro Panda Software If there are files that can not be removed by the scans please include that information in your next post. Be sure to post a new HJT log after doing the following steps please. |

Let's try something else.
1. Please download DllCompare: DLLCompare 2. Start the Program with its default settings and put a check mark in the include subdirectories. Click the Run Locate.com and wait until the scan says complete. 3. Click the Compare button to start the next process. 4. Files in the upper portion have been verified to "exist", Files in the bottom section were not able to be accessed. Very few files should be listed in the bottom section when the Compare scan is complete. 5. Click on each of the listed entries in the lower section to select them. Right-click on the file and use the Option Rescan. 6. This will cause Windows Find to see if the file does exist, and then it will be removed from the list (to reduce the number of identified files) 7. Click the Make a Log of what was found button, and post the log here in this thread to receive further instructions. |
