damn you got a lot of stuff that needs fixing. get hold of spybot and adaware pronto and run them get the links form the sticky's at the top of the forum.
post a fresh hijackthis log after you done. =================== the following are just my opinions and may be wrong===== the following running processes i feel are bad Quote:
Quote:
these are ones i aint sure about. do you have windows automatic updates enabled ? in that case this one is legit. other wise it aint. Quote:
these ones i feel are suspicious.. are they stuff you ahve installed ? Quote:
========================================================== there are alot of entries in your registry that need to be tackled and more will appear i presume. make sure you run spybot, adaware etc. also run the following command from the cmd prompt with your windows xp disk in the drive "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes) post back after you've doen all this. there are files in your windows folder and system 32 you need to clean out. please delet all files in the temp and temporary internet folders loacted here c:\Documents and settings\<you user name>\localsettings\ make sure have enabled showing of all hidden files. hope i helped a little bit ![]()

take backups of your personal files to a different partiton.
boot into safe mode and run "sfc /scannow" run msconfig and disable all dodgy looking services clean out the folders i mentioned already Quote:
locate these files and elete them. i believe their baddies ![]() Quote:
fix the following entries with hijackthis (make sure you have backups enabled ) Quote:
if some files refuse to get removed, then open the cmd prompt and navigate to that file. then fromt eh task manager kill the explorer process (leave the cmd window open). then use the command "del" to remove the file that wasnt going. after you are done, use the run propmt in the taskmanager to restart explorer. ie "explorer.exe" hope this helps a bit. post a fresh log after this. aviod using IE ad your browser. please use firefox, or post the lof from another machine as i'm sure there will be stuff i have missed. hope that either user grinler, or tommyboy sees this thread and helps you out though coz they are the best. cheers ![]() Last edited by oneMSBi : May 6th, 2005 at 04:55 PM. |
