Help with svchelp.exe prob

Well I guess this qualifies as a adware prob, or maybe a windows, But I recently gave my compy a thorough cleansing and got rid of a lot of bad stuff. Apparently, something that was deleted by way to my progs, has caused a prompt to keep popping up stating that "svchelp.exe has encountered a problem." I choose debug but I receive another message saying that the there is no JIT debugging for it. And whether I choose to send a report or not, the prompt will go away and return within a matter of seconds. I would much appreciate any help from someone who has experience or knowledge in the area and can give me the answers to go about it.

As an added note, the report says that it's inlcuding info on these files:

1) \LOCALS~1\Temp\WERb883.dir00\svchelp.exe.mdmp
2) \LOCALS~1\Temp\WERb883.dir00\appcompat.txt
