helper.dll and flickering
I had the Rundll
Error loading C:\progra~\3721\helper.dll
specified module could not be found
and my monitor also flickers each time I log on to windows.
I fixed the rundll problem by following the instructions given to tomluec by tommyboy and this fixed the rundll problem.

However, my monitor still flickers. This is my current log:

Please update HijackThis, you are using an outdated version:

Open HijackThis, click Config > Misc Tools > Check for Update online

Or download a copy of version 1.98.2 at:

Please delete the older version you are using now.

Here's a new log:
The screen flickers at a refresh rate of anything above 60. At 60hz there's two bands that go up and down the screen or stay there permanently. I've tried hooking up the monitor to a laptop from the same position and it works fine. I've tried moving things around to correct for interference and it's fine as well.

Please follow the instructions for removal.

If you lose your internet connection after the removal process, please run LSPFix.exe (don't remove any files listed, just click Finish). That should repair your internet connection.

I successfully removed new.net from the programs list and still have an internet connection.

Boot into Safe Mode. Reboot your computer, start tapping F8 when it first starts booting, select Safe Mode.

Make sure your computer is configured to show all files and folders.
Click Start.
Open My Computer.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden Files and Folders heading select Show Hidden Files and Folders.
Uncheck hide extensions for known file types.
Uncheck the Hide Protected Operating System Files option.
Click Yes to confirm.
Click OK.

Search for and delete the following files:

C:\WINDOWS\Downlo~1\ddtkillw.ocx

Search for and delete the following folders:

C:\Program Files\ClockSync < delete the entire ClockSync folder

Next....

Go to Start > Run > type "cleanmgr" (without the quotes). > Select the drive to clean up (usually C ) > Place a checkmark next to the following:

Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin
Temporary Files

Then click OK.

Reboot normally.

Please post a fresh HijackThis log.

I can't find clock sync under add or remove programs. Should i just skip that step and go on to the next ones?
