Exclamation Hijacked homepage(perfectnav)/NORTON SECURITY PROBLEM/ Hijack log is included.
Hi guys.

I'm having issues with this perfectnav thing. I uninstalled Kazaa. Ran adware, spy bot and bazooka but nothing is uninstalling it. I tried manually deleting it, but windows isn't allowing me too.

EDIT: Now my Norton Security isn't working currently. My firewall has been disabled (not by myself), and when I got to ENABLE it. . I'm being told I have to log in as the supervisor. I went to uninstall, then reinstall AGAIN and it won't let me do that because of the supervisor thing. What the hell is going on?

Hi JustiLynne,

You have a coolwebsearch infection, among other things. Please download CWShredder from Here

Press "Check for Update" and download any new updates available.

Close ALL browser windows or it may not work! Unzip it to a convenient location such as your Desktop and select "Fix" (do not just Scan). It will automatically remove the infections.

Reboot

Please move HijackThis to a permanent location, such as C:\HJT so backups can be made of what we fix.

Post an updated HJT log.

Open Task manager and end the following processes if running:
ViewMgr.exe

Run HijackThis, place a checkmark next to the following items. Close ALL other windows and browsers except HijackThis. Click "fix checked".
