Homepage hijack & proxy override - please help!

Hello everyone
I have a problem with my IE connection to the web: my homepage is hijacked by "easy-search", and, more annoying, it goes through a proxy adress, even though I tick it off in the "Options" of IE. Everything is slowed down, or shut down from time to time. I have scanned my PC with Ad-Aware and Hijackthis, but somehow they are unable to solve the problem: even when I select "fix checked" to delete the problems, they come back 5 minutes later.
Can someone help me to solve this problem?
