I think a virus is preventing me from accessing internet

Hello. Please excuse my english, it's not my first language.

I'm running Windows XP, and up to yesterday I could browse just fine, but today the system just wont detect my connection. The ethernet cable I use is properly connected and the green light indicates the CPU recognizes it, I think. :P Or could my internet card be dead?

I ran ATF cleaner, CCcleaner, Malwarebytes and SUPERAntispyware after installing trough USB but the problem persits. I also tried system restore under safe mode and administrator, but it seems to be blocked.

Err...pardon my retarded question but what part of the hijack log contains URLs?

Are you sure you can see only one LED?

Most cards have two
One of them should be flashing if data is being transmitted or received.

Another troubleshooting guide

Hmmm, right, only the green one is lit up. Tried a different cable and got the same results: no internet. The card has never given me any problems before though, and I checked with another ethernet cable, there's still a possibility a virus is messing with it.
