infected with lop
hi guys
bisous from France It seems i'm infected with this bloody lop.com . Iv'e tried many removal tools ( lop_uninstaller.exe or lop_toolbar_uninstaller.exe ( published by C2Media) but it doesnt work. Actullay the most effcient one is lopremover from : http://www.thespykiller.co.uk/downloads.htm The spyware is removed but it reappears after 2 or 3 reboots : several icons appear on my screen and i've got a blue toolbar that i can't remove when i launch IE I think there's an infected file which is not deleted and which reinstalls lop Here is my hijackthis logs. U may not find anything infected beacuse i've just used lopremover ( but it'll reappear after several reboots ) : Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1 Scan saved at 00:49:03, on 02/08/2005 Platform: Windows XP SP2 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP2 (6.00.2900.2180) Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\TGTSoft\StyleXP\StyleXPService.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\Program Files\Iomega HotBurn\Autolaunch.exe C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_04\bin\jusched.exe C:\Program Files\MSN Apps\Updater\01.02.3000.1001\fr\msnappau.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgcc.exe C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe C:\Program Files\Winamp\winampa.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe C:\Program Files\SAGEM\SAGEM F@st 800-840\dslmon.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgamsvr.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVGFRE~1\avgupsvc.exe C:\PROGRA~1\Iomega\System32\AppServices.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\nvsvc32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\myboxscript\myboxscript6\mirc.exe C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE C:\Documents and Settings\Gregory\Desktop\HijackThis.exe R0 - Just so you know, C2Media are the creators of LOP.
Lopremover is one of the better removers, but did you first of all try the uninstaller in add/remove programs (control panel)? The next step would be an ad-aware and spybot S+D scan : http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ and http://www.spybot.info/. First of all use the updater to update them and then run FULL scans. Select everything and remove them. The next step is that hijackthis log. These are the ones I can see should be removed but I would wait for someone more knowledgeable to have a look. Any lines beginning with // are comments and are to help you understand and not for removal. //Processes (ctrl-alt-del, select the process and click end task) C:\WINDOWS\system32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe //Other (tick boxes in HJT) //Hmm, you HAVE Spybot S+D.... //Possible... O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IE Runtimes] winis.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Instant Access] rundll32.exe p2esocks_1042.dll,InstantAccess //Did you change the DNS Server? An installer for your ISP may have done or this may be a way to route your browsing to adverts... O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{5005947F-A30B-48E1-9B8E-86F43C7E4171}: NameServer = 194.117.200.10,194.117.200.15 O23 - Service: hccuwtcyzsnc (aactnrus5) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\jniviqzl5.exe (file missing) Anything I marked possibly, use your judgement, and the second to last one I would only remove if you have been recently redirected to ad sites. Im not an expert at this so hopefully a more skilled person will be along soon

Actually i've already used both spybot s+d and ad-aware many times. I remove everything but lop comes back. I've also checked the registry (regedit) many times to find the culprit but i've found nothing wrong ... I don't understand
