ISP connection is failing

Okay, here's one that's doing my head in. I'm on freeserve broadband using Windows XP. And for the past week, I can only use IE for the first ten minutes of loading up. The thing is that the internet is still on. I can use MSN, WinMX and ZMud. I thought that the fault may just be with IE, but I downloaded Netscape and the same thing keeps happening. If I disconnect and reconnect, it still doesn't work

I've tried loading windows updates, Norton, System Restore, fixing all file errors, defraging, nothing seems to work. HELP.

The worst thing is, I'm going to have to restart the computer and log on to the net again before I can post this
