If you want someone to help you, I suggest that you post a HijackThis log. |

Hey polstar,
Enable everything in MSCONFIG (if you have disabled anything). Go to Start > Run > msconfig > click Startup Tab > everythig should have a checkmark to the left of it. Download HijackThis (link below). Make sure you install HijackThis to a permanent folder such as C:\HJT as it creates backups of what we will fix. Run the program, press Scan, press Save log. Notepad will open, copy and paste the entire log into your post. Do not fix anything yet, most of what's in the log is needed! Tom

Uh, Tom, why doesn't he ask the company to give him a force uninstall porgram? It's much more faster.
If the program doesn't work, then provide the HijackThis log. |

Hi Newbie, What's a force uninstall program? How would that fix a browser hijacking? Tom |

A force uninstall program is a program that morefinders may have that will remove its files from your registry. Morefinders have a "contact email" in their website but it is not a valid email. So therefore you can't find out if they have a force uninstall program at all.

I see, well as it turns out it's a coolwebsearch domain and CWShredder should remove it. Posting a HijackThis log would help in any clean-up afterwards and detect any further malware in the computer. Your choice.
