msblast.exe virus problem-help please
My system is running on Windows 2000.It was infected my msblast.exe and mslaugh.exe .Therefore my system suddenly became very slow.
I had them remove from the registry entries and I have deleted msblast.exe and mslaugh.exe from the Winnt folder. But still my computer is experiencing the same problem.
What should I do now?Is formatting the hard disk is the only remedy for this problem?(But I don't want to lose some important files).can anyone help me by giving a valuable remedy.
Thanks in advance!

I think that this error message can probably be caused by lots of things, not just viruses. I believe there may have been a patch to solve this problem - make sure that your computer is up to date at http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Internet Connection problem
Sorry for the late response.
I tried to connect to the Internet for Windows update. As the sysem is very slow it took a hell a lot of time and it takes hours to open a web page and after some time the connection gets disconnected.
Suddenly the message 'SVCHOST.EXE' error is displayed and after that the hyperlinks doesn't work.
What should I do now?
