Need Help Restoring Explorer.exe
I called Yahoo DSL to help me get rid of a trojan and they had me deleting stuff, and well now explorer.exe is missing on my comp so I can't really get to anything, could someone help or perhaps send me explorer.exe to my e-mail. I use WIndows XP, my e-mail is SAdude922@yahoo.com Please e-mail me cuz its hard to keep track of forums

dude you gonna get spammed when a bot finds that e-mail addy. no we cant mail you explorer.exe

you need to pop your xp cd into the tray and reboot.. enter the setup and proceed with the installation till it says repair existing installation of xp. not the recover console ! but repair existing installation of Xp.

You really haven't left us with much information regaring your windows installation. Anyways, my machine has a copy of explorer.exe in:

C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386

You might want to see if that folder exists on your computer and copy it to this folder:

C:\WINDOWS
