Angry Problems with Internet Explorer

Hi,

I'm having a simple problem with internet explorer. My problem is, i could only open one window with it. If i open another window, the last window closes. Like that, if i download something, a new window opens, closes and so does the first window close.

I hope someone here could help me.
Thanks in advance,
TheFastOne

sounds like spyware/adware. I recommend spybot, and ad-aware. If you really want to get rid of them i suggest changing your browser to Firefox, great features and you wont get the spyware.

Exclamation .

Thanks for your help but IE still doesnt let me open more then a window. I scanned my whole computer with spybot but it still doesnt let me open more then a window. I'll try firefox, if it's good i'll stay with it, but if it's not, i'll stick with opera but I wont format my computer tho.

(Edit: Wow, Firefox is a nice browser. But.. Would be still good if IE would work properly like how it used to)

Thanks again!

Hey TheFastOne,

Enable everything in MSCONFIG (if you have disabled anything). Go to Start > Run > msconfig > click Startup Tab > everything should have a checkmark to the left of it. Please note: this does not apply to Windows 2000 users.

Download HijackThis (link below). Make sure you install HijackThis to a permanent folder such as C:\HJT as it creates backups of what we will fix. Run the program, press Scan, after a brief pause press Save log. Notepad will open, copy and paste the entire log into your post. Do not fix anything yet, most of what's in the log is needed!

Tom
