RED X Problems
I am getting RED X problems on multiple website pages and almost every website I visit states "page can not be displayed or Action Canceled". I normally could careless about viewing banner ads and such but it is making me have to hit the back button 2 times to get back to the previous page. I also can't use some of my radar data and applications I use because there are advertisements on those pages and they just go blank or don't load. I was told on another thread to post my highjackthis log here.
Any help would be appreciated. I have ran ad-ware and spybot, and also have tried to system restore and reset websetting with no luck. You look pretty clean to me, Braunie, there is this entry I'm not sure about:
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyOverride = http://localhost It may have been set by your firewall, and that is likely where your problem lies is a misconfiguration ofyour McAfee Personal Firewall. |

ok.. i think you should fix those items too.
after you fix them, please run this command: "sfc /scannow" from the run prompt (start menu > run > ) with your xp cd in the cd rom drive. [no quotes with the command] then run hijackthis and post a fresh log. |
