Removing 180search

Is it possible to change something in XP without going on every users name? Cause i'm trying to move some files but they remain on other names

For example, Say I move a toolbar from Person One... it still remains in Person Two and Three... is it possible to do a single removal from all users at one time??

The problem I am having... I'm trying to remove 180search which is a Adware and many other ad and spyware programs but having the hardest time possible, any suggestions would be really helpful!

thanks

Easy.
First, the company who made the Adware should have a "force uninstall" program. Send them an email telling that you have been hacked and you will get your lawyer if they don't tell you the way to fix the problem.

Hi Regulator,

Each user account has to have the malware removed separately . I'ts considered best to post a HijackThis log from each user account and deal with the infections one at a time.

Could you post the recipe? This 180search is the worst one I've ever had the displeasure of trying to remove. Thanks.

Hi don park,

The best way to remove 180search is posting a HijackThis log. Someone will guide you through the removal process.

Please download HijackThis. Make sure you install HijackThis to a permanent folder such as C:\HJT as it creates backups of what we will fix. Run the program, click the button at the top "Do a system scan and save a logfile". Save the log to a convenient place such as C:\HJT Notepad will open, copy and paste the entire log into your post. Do not fix anything yet, most of what's in the log is needed!

Hi, I am having the same problem with 180 search assistant. I can't remove the program. I have emailed the company but it got returned. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Hi iluvron88,

Please create your own thread and post a HijackThis log.

Please download HijackThis. Make sure you install HijackThis to a permanent folder such as C:\HJT as it creates backups of what we will fix.
