Task Mgr and MSconfig Problems

Good Day everyone,

I've done a bunch of reading on your site, but I cannot find the answer to my problem. I am having trouble with task manager opening for the 1-2 seconds and msconfig not working. I have Norton, ad-aware, spybot search and destroy, spyware blaster, spyware guard and now hijack this. I have tried doing all the things, in the order I've understood, but nothing seems to be working. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tulip.

Enable / Disable the Task Manager

2.Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
3.Create the Dword value DisableTaskMgr
4.Give it a value of 0 to enable it
5.Give it a vaule of 1 to disable it
