The page cannot be displayed

I need help! Recently I removed some spyware with xCleaner. Now all I can get with internet explorer is "The page cannot be displayed". I have run HijackThis and here is my log

Is there a way I can reinstall internet explorer without having to completly reinstalling Windows XP. I have tried to download and install IE 6 on it's own, but it will not install on my system.

You should be able to download IE 6 SP1 from Microsoft and reinstall it using that.

Spyware quite often modifies files within IE and when you remove the spyware files IE will no longer work. You need to reinstall it due to that.

I have already tried the IE 6 SP1 and still cannot get it to install. Any other suggestions?
