Very slow startup
Hi,
Ive been reading into the Hijack threads, Im not sure where to start. My Comp is REAL slow on startup. I downloaded and ran Hijackthis. Can someone please scan my log quickly to tell me if there's anything unusual. Are there any sites to look at to compare my log? ![]() Your a real specialist at this spyware detection arnt you? Im guesing your a system admin by trade or something? How do you pick the problems? Are you comparing the Hijack logs against a healthy log or something? |

No, not an admin. Just interested in helping people get this junk off their computers. There are a few sites that are helping people learn the ins and outs of spyware removal. I am by no means an expert, just determined enough to keep on learning. Tom |

I agree, but the scumware makers keep getting more sneaky all the time. More custom removal tools have to be created. The tools that we have must be constantly updated.
The amazing thing is, it's almost ALL done by volunteers! |

Spyware back to haunt me >:(
Hey Tom,
After fixing my problem I got a call from a freind who has been hijacked to the extreme. Ive run Ad-aware 6, SpyBot and AVG and removed probably 300 odd problems at last count, not to mention one of those was a trojan and CWS. Anyway the spyware just keeps coming!
