Virus on server
Hi,
I have an issue, I believe I have a virus on my server which I cannot seem to remove. Every time my server restarts Windows Defender alerts me about it.
microsoft.com/security/portal/Threat/Encyclopedia/Entry.aspx?name=TrojanDownloader%3aWin32%2fSmall.gen!I&threatid=92596
My database has been crashing often (once a day normally) though I think it may be more related to my internet being blocked off partially by a virus. I cannot use web browsers, my database, but some services I am hosting still operate.
A process called lsass.exe runs when my server starts and takes a good 15-20% of CPU. Once I end it, it runs better though.
What virus protection would you recommend for a single server (Windows 2003 64-bit)? I already have ClanWin, Window Defender, and SpyBot Search & Destroy. Would you have any suggestions as for getting a third party to remove the viruses professionally?
All help is greatly appreciated.
