Angry Virus Problems
I have been have some problems with a master boot virus... yes i know ouch. i wanted to know if there is any way i can get rid of it without formatting. I'm practically . this comes from someone who is new to the computer scenes. have 1 year in this. so keep it in high lay mans terms lol.

can you boot into windows? What state is your PC in? Give some more information?

If you can get into Windows, I'd recommend you hit up:

housecall.antivirus.com

Run their online scanner - it cleans MBR viruses among other jerky programs/files.

NOTA BENE: You'll have to use IE for this one. It's not firefox compatible. ....

I would have thought that this would have been better in the AntiVirus forum ??

Sour.Intel, have a look at oneMSBi's sig, he has excellent links on there for Virus and Spyware removal, see if any of them on there help you out.

It is ironically enough that only I.E. and ActiveX which is the source of virus can save PCs.

Must Firefox become also the source of virus first in order to replace I.E.?
