Yeah, post the logs for us to have a look at. Can you remember what threats were removed?
What version of Windows are you running? By the sounds of it, you now have a corrupt 'explorer.exe'. When Windows attempts to boot, see if you can enter the task manager by using Ctril + Alt +Del and if you can, look in the processes tab and see if explorer.exe is running. If not, go to 'New Task (Run...)' and type 'explorer.exe' and let us know if this then enables the task bar, start menu etc
