Windows Explorer will not open
All of a sudden I can no longer open Windows Explorer. Regardless of how I attempt to open it:
Right click Start/Explore Double click short cut Windows button/E Nothing. The only thing that does happen is that the task bar flashes off then back on. Explorer.exe IS running in task manager. When I boot in safe mode I have no trouble getting into explorer which leads me to believe that it is something running in the background. I have also run Norton and Webroot spysweeper in safe mode but nothing really shows up. Any suggestions?  Thanks !!!

Hi PackFan,
Please download HijackThis. Make sure you install HijackThis to a permanent folder such as C:\HJT as it creates backups of what we will fix. Run the program, press Scan, after a brief pause... press Save log. Notepad will open, copy and paste the entire log into your post. Do not fix anything yet, most of what's in the log is needed! http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html Tom
