Windows explorer will not open

when I click on explorer or any folder, such as my documents, the screen blinks but nothing else happens.

what do i do?

Hi video maker and welcome to Dev Shed.

Before we look over your log, can you download, update the definitions and run Spybot S & D, Ad-Aware, Ewido and Trojan Hunter. After you have ran all these programs, run a thorough Anti-Virus scan. If you don't have any AV software on your pc, have a look at using AVG Free or doing an online scan at Panda Active Scan or at Trend Micro Housecall.

Once you have run these programs, please post a fresh HJT log for us to look at.

On another note, do you still have your XP install disk ?

I have downloaded and am running these programs and will post a hjt log soon.

I also have the XP install disc.
