XP one-window-at-a-time?
Sorry all, I'm not a Windows person. Hate the crap, but I'm stuck on it for now. Here's the problem:
Every time I open an IE window or a pop-up, err, pops up, my old browser window closes. Only one IE window opens at a time. Is there an option to turn this "feature" off, or should I get a real browser like Netscape. Will Netscape even fix the problem? |

Have you run a virus scan, and ad-aware/spybot S&D/CWShredder to eliminate malware on the computer?
If that all checks out, you can repair or reinstall IE.

Get Adaware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/)
Dont use IE. Get Netscape or FireFox. If the pop-ups still persist, and they are in IE, just ununinstall IE. Hope this helps!! Good Luck Last edited by Viper_SB : July 21st, 2004 at 12:36 PM. |
