Advantages of mod_perl?
Should I install mod_perl?
What are the benefits to a site with low traffic? (I am not Amazon.com after all.) Are there any drawbacks I should consider? (I.e., if it's so great, why isn't it one of the standard modules?) Last edited by WinZip : July 16th, 2001 at 10:24 AM. |

Speed and enforce you to code Perl better. mod_perl will refuse to execute if you don't code it properly. >> Are there any drawbacks Just like mod_php, your scripts will be executed as the same user Apache runs as, which is less secure in muti-users environment. |
