I am not able to run apache server in my machine.(Win 95).It give the following error in the log. file:
[Thu Mar 16 15:56:57 2000] [crit] (2)No such file or directory: make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 80
[Thu Mar 16 15:57:02 2000] [crit] make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 80
[Thu Mar 16 16:12:48 2000] [crit] make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 720
[Fri Mar 17 09:17:13 2000] [crit] make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 720
[Fri Mar 17 09:17:21 2000] [crit] make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 720
[Fri Mar 17 10:16:21 2000] [crit] make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 720
[Fri Mar 17 10:16:24 2000] [crit] make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 720
[Fri Mar 17 10:17:26 2000] [crit] make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 720
[Fri Mar 17 10:17:39 2000] [crit] make_sock: failed to get a socket for port 720

Could u tell me the problem and the solution to this.

You must re instal win 95, flow this step:
1/goto start menu, choose setting/control panel
2/ in control panel, choose item add/move program, choose windows setup tab
3/ in there you choose all item about network(i don't remenber), and choose aply
4/restart your computer
5/ in control panel, choose item network then. choose protocal tab, and there you type any IP address you like,
6/ re instal apache,
7/retart coputer.
8/ you open browser, and type: http://IP address, and enter so it is OK, i hope that
9/ Enjoy, .....
