I am a new user to the Apache world and have heard of Apache Mod SSL installation apart from the normal Apache installation.
The seeting up is already given in your lead article so that helps a lot. But what is the SSL factor about ? |

Mod SSL just means secure server encryption can be compiled in as a module of Apache. Check out the Apache + ModSSL link at this site:

Personally I would suggest going to http://www.apache.org and clicking on the related projects link and selecting mod_ssl
they have a plethora of online docs and the offical FAQ on mod_ssl which is VERY USEFUL I found it to be indispensible in a recent instalation. -Mce ------------------ Watch out where them huskies go don't you eat that yellow snow -FZ |
