Apache not starting

My apache used to work fine but lately it hasn't here is the error that i get:
/usr/sbin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started
any idea what i can do, its a SuSE 7.2 linus box.

Make sure your httpd.conf and your srm.conf are configured correctly.

THanks for the help, I tried all that and eventually figured out that I had to run something called SuSEconfig. Thanks any way.
