I have installed the Apache Web Server 1.3.12 on Linux Red Hat 6.2, with Php3 and MySQL.
When I try to access the server in locale it goes well and works. But when I try from home the browser gives me this error: In the web site there were some difficulties. And does not load the page. It seems like the server is down. Is there something to check in the configuration module? Is there anyone who had the same problem? Thank you Camillo Ferraris |

can you telnet to the box from home? if so, make sure that httpd is running (ps ax | grep httpd). also, it sounds like there might be a DNS problem. Make sure that there is a www entry in your DNS server that points to the correct IP. Also, check the apache logs (error_log) to see if you can get any clarification.
