What is the difference between these two?
I know mod_ssl is a module, so it can be loaded and unloaded without recompiling apache, but is there any significant performance difference between the two? I assume if I use mod_ssl I cannot compile apache statically? which in itself is a performance hit. Which would be best (performace wise) for me? bearing in mind that I need to also serve via http, and that I'm running PHP also (both http and https) Thanks.... |
