asp and linux running apache

does asp files work on a linux system running apache?

i've heard a lot of people say asp doesn't work on linux systems, but why did they make a asp module for apache then

please reply i really need to know

The answer is yes and no, which is pretty clear from the docs at:

So as long as your ASP pages use perl, then yes. If they use whatever lingual abomination M$ has come up with, no.
