Hm... I know this question have
appeared many times before but... What is the ortodoxe way to boot start Apache on linux... (RedHat 6.1)? Do I have to modify that rc.d script? Is there any other way? Thanks Ernie |

I cheated and simply made /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd (on RedHat6.2) a symlink to /usr/local/apache/bin/httpdctl, then created the appropriate symlinks in each rcN/ directory to start and stop it on each run level.
Works well for me. -Joe |
