I recently was give the Admin responsibilities for a BSDI, Apache web server. I've been told it'll support PHP. How do I know if it's been installed?

Test it with <?php echo phpinfo(); ?> and see. What we are more interested in knowing is "How do you know if it hasn't been installed?"
