I'm using win2k and Apache 1.3.x

Everything's working great if I access it by typing localhost or 127.0.0.1, but if I want to access my site by typing the IP address provided by my ISP or my LAN address
--> 192.168.0.x, it doesnt work.

I'have tried a few things but noting worked.

Like set ServerName to http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
in the httpd.conf and some other things.

Any help would be appreciate. Thanks

Check your HOSTS.SAM file and rename it to HOSTS. I am not sure where that file is for Win2k, but for Win9x, it's in C:WINDOWSHOSTS.SAM (SAM stand for 'SAMPLE')

Thanks for your help, but that wasn't the problem, I solved it by adding the command line: Listen 192.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 in httpd.conf

But , now I have another problem, Here is the plan. I'm behind a linux box who provides me Internet by the masquerading procedure. you can guess waht is my question : What do I have to do for my linux box so that it redirects to my pc when someone try to access my web site from the net.

I'm using Mandrake 7.2
ipchains & MASQ are both running on it.

Thanks again

By the way, FreeBSD, your a king !!!
