Config to run .php and .phtml extensions

Hello

I have a new web host that setup a virtual server for me with access to Apache config files. However, while .php files work .phtml files don't.

How do I modify the httpd.conf file to activate .phtml files? or even better how do I get PHP code to run in .html files?
