Could Not Open Db Auth File
I managed to compile with support for db auth password files but my error log reads "(2) No such file or directory: could not open db auth file," which is odd since the file (a Berkeley db2 hash file) does exist and has the correct file permissions, etc.
Any input appreciated... ![]() |

How did you create that .db file? How did you open it?

It seems that www.apacheweek.com/features/dbmauth is only partly right...and dbmmanage only sometimes works.
For me at least, I needed a .db file, which dbmmanage would not create. So I wrote my own perl program using dbmopen() and now everything works fine. ![]() |
