eapi problem on apache1.3.22 win2k..
I am having the problem with compile the php and mod_gzip to get eapi enable. I only can get Apache 1.3.22, mod_ssl 2.8.5, openssl 1.9.5b and mod_perl 1.26 compile successful with eapi. Without the mod_ssl and openssl then I can get apache, mod_gzip, mod_perl and php together successful.
I do know how to do that in the Unix by put eapi in the CPPFLAGS, but not on Win2k. I am using MSVC v6 and compile them by the command line. It's pretty hard to find the nice docs about Apache on Win2k, since Apache is building for Unix. Also, I have posted in two different boards and nobody can answer my question, so I guess in here is the last board that I know.. If you want to know what error that I got... Error: ============================================== [Sat Oct 27 23:17:53 2001] [warn] Loaded DSO modules/ApacheModuleGzip.dll uses plain Apache 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI! (please recompile it with -DEAPI) The Apache service is starting. ============================================== Thanks, Mezz |

Well, I believe they came with Apache by default. You just enable them by configure in the httpd.conf... You can download the source code of Apache at www.apache.org. It's pretty easy to find the modules for perl and apache by search in the google.com. Also, you can use Apache's module search in the same link above. The modules for perl/apache at www.cpan.org/modules/. |
