Ok here's the I got my apache all running on mandrake 8 and I can access it from the net using my DSL's static IP address, I also bought a domain name now how do I set up my DNS so when someone goes to mydomainname.com it will show the website on my DSL's static IP address. ANy help is greatly appreciated.

You will have to find a DNS server to host your domain, or you can run your own. Say you choose to run your own, you then have to add an A record in its zone. Don't use cname, just use one or multiple A record.
Your question is actually off-topic and it's 100% related to DNS and 0% related to Apache. You should start by searching the web. |
