help: CHMOD on windows

I'm using win98-apache-php3-mysql

How I change file atributes on ftp or php scripts??

Try the "attrib" command in DOS.

To change foobar.php from read-only to archive:

attrib +a -r foobar.php

a = archive
r = read-only
h = hidden
s = system
+ = enable
- = disable

If you do just "attrib +a foobar.php", then your foobar.php would be both "archive and read-only".

hmmm,I have a question though. Can I use
chmod 755 (for instance) from within Cuteftp, given that I set up a ftp server in my Win machine?

No you can't. BTW, why you need to change the file attribute where the default one "a" is just fine?

If you happen to install UNIXDOS to your win32 box and create a custom command "chomd" to your cuteftp client, the ftp server still wouldn't understand such command in a win32 environment even though "chmod" is in your path after a successful install of UNIXDOS.
